What Sets Our Services Apart

Individual Assessment

We never begin training without understanding your current state. Comprehensive assessment identifies your capabilities, limitations, and optimal starting point, ensuring programmes challenge you appropriately from day one.

Responsive Programming

Your programme adjusts based on how you respond, not a predetermined schedule. This adaptive approach optimises progress rates whilst managing fatigue intelligently.

Education Focused

We explain our reasoning and teach principles, helping you develop understanding that serves you beyond our time working together. Knowledge empowers better independent decisions.

Evidence-Based Methods

Our approaches draw from current exercise science research and proven coaching practices, not fitness trends or unvalidated theories.

Service Process

Stage 1

Initial Consultation

We discuss your goals, training history, current activity levels, any injuries or limitations, and what you hope to achieve. This conversation typically lasts 30-45 minutes and helps us understand whether our approach aligns with your needs.

You'll leave this consultation with clear understanding of how we work, what to expect, and whether proceeding makes sense for your situation.

Stage 2

Comprehensive Assessment

Through structured testing, we evaluate your movement patterns, strength levels, cardiovascular capacity, mobility, and any asymmetries or restrictions. This assessment takes approximately 90 minutes and provides quantifiable baseline data.

We explain findings as we progress, helping you understand what we're observing and why it matters for your programme design.

Stage 3

Programme Creation

Using assessment data and your stated goals, we design a specific training plan. Exercise selection, loading parameters, volume, and intensity are all determined by your individual needs and response patterns.

We review the programme with you before beginning, explaining the structure and reasoning so you understand how each element contributes to your objectives.

Stage 4

Implementation and Adjustment

Training begins with close attention to technique and appropriate challenge levels. As you adapt, we progressively increase demands through calculated adjustments to maintain stimulus for continued improvement.

Regular check-ins monitor your response, allowing us to refine the programme based on performance data, recovery indicators, and your feedback about how training feels.

Service Questions

This depends on your goals, experience level, and preferences. One-to-one training suits those wanting direct coaching and accountability. Programme design works well for experienced individuals comfortable training independently. The 12-week body composition programme provides comprehensive support for fat loss or muscle gain goals. Contact us to discuss which option aligns best with your situation.

Yes. Purchasing sessions in blocks of 10 or 20 provides reduced per-session rates. The 12-week body composition programme already represents a package discount compared to purchasing equivalent sessions and consultations individually. We can discuss package options during your initial consultation.

Standard personal training sessions run 60 minutes. This allows adequate time for warm-up, main training blocks, cool-down, and any discussion about programme adjustments or questions. Initial assessment sessions run approximately 90 minutes due to the comprehensive testing involved.

Absolutely. Many clients begin with regular personal training, then transition to programme design once they've developed sufficient knowledge and confidence for independent training. Others move between services based on changing goals or circumstances. We'll recommend the most appropriate option for your current needs.

We require 24 hours notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with adequate notice can be rescheduled without charge. Cancellations within 24 hours or missed sessions without notification are charged at full rate, as that time was reserved for you and cannot be offered to other clients.

Currently we focus on in-person services where we can directly assess movement quality and provide hands-on coaching. This approach produces better outcomes for most clients, particularly those newer to training or those with specific limitations requiring close monitoring.
